Water inside of me

“Water has always influenced the thinking of many philosophers. First of all, Thales defines water as an arche 'that is, the principle of all things. Water is the symbol of life, of rebirth. There is something universally meditative about observing the movement of the sea. And it is in this context that these paintings are born. They are just the first in a series that talk about me and my relationship with water. In this period where my body asks to stop, I decided to listen to it and relax by drawing and painting. All so, fluid and natural as water exploring different techniques. ”

“In these two works I used UART paper, soft and hard crayons. Below you can see a small overview of some colors I used. So many color overlays, layer on layer starting with the softest colors and the hardest crayons for lines and details. The UART paper, being rough allows me to make the pastels cling very well."
