Introduction: A Personal Touch to Porcelain

I don't like to leave a work on porcelain for its own purpose, so I decided to devote myself to the decoration of a modern frame. Porcelain is an elegant and refined material, which deserves special attention to make its natural beauty stand out. In this blog post, I will guide you through the creative process I have undertaken to turn a simple frame into a unique piece of art.

The Decoration Process

I started by drawing light pencil drawings on a sheet of white paper, so as to have an initial guide for decoration.I chose geometric patterns to give a modern touch to the traditional elegance of porcelain.Squades, rulers and compass are fundamental tools for the next stage.Once satisfied with the drawing, I started to create a composition with colorful cards. At this point I created a color palette that would take up the painting on porcelain. It is important to work patiently to get a balanced and proportioned job. I chose different materials, blue velvet, brown cardboard and ochre passe-partout and to finish and embellish the whole thing I concluded with 3 porcelain plates.

Finishing and Protection

After completing the decoration, I had it glued to a framer on a metal base. The end result was a modern and carefully decorated frame, perfect for framing a work of art on porcelain.The satisfaction of seeing your work take shape and shine is priceless.

Decorating a fine porcelain frame was an incredibly rewarding experience. Not only have I been able to express my creativity, but I have also created a unique object that will enrich any environment in which it will be exhibited.
